How do I withdraw funds from my account?
Follow this simple procedure:
Go to: ‘My Account’ > ‘withdraw funds’ > follow the instructions.

My country is in the list of supported local payment methods - what does it mean?
Moneybookers is connected to the domestic payment network of all countries shown in the list of supported local payment methods. The respective methods of payment are shown by the icons (either domestic bank transfer or a cheque drawn on a bank in your country). The advantage for you: As domestic bank and cheque payments are mostly free of charge, you should have no or only very low costs to receive a withdrawal. We therefore strongly advise you to choose a local payment method when you are offered so in the ‘withdraw funds’ section of your account.

What is the SWIFT Code?
The SWIFT address is an 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters long international standard uniquely identifying your financial institution. The SWIFT address is also known as BIC (=Bank Identifier Code). Please contact your bank for details.

What is the IBAN?
The International Bank Account Number or IBAN, as it is commonly called, is a bank account number structured according to the ECBS (European Committee for Banking Standards) standards. Every bank account number in a participating European country can be converted into an IBAN - please contact your bank for details. The IBAN has a maximum of 34 alphanumeric characters.

What does it cost to withdraw money?
Withdraw money via bank transfer: ? 1.80 flat fee
Withdraw money via cheque: ? 3.50 flat fee
Withdraw money via credit/debit card (Visa only): ? 2.00 flat fee

My bank uses a correspondent bank to receive international payments. Can I still receive withdrawals to this bank account?
No. Moneybookers does not process withdrawals through correspondent banks. You therefore MUST use a bank which is directly connected to the SWIFT network.

When can I request a cheque?
Cheques can only be sent to any of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.

If I ask for a cheque - how can I cash it in?
Please note that it is usually only possible to cash in cheques at a bank where you have a bank account. The clearing to your bank account will usually take a few days. We generally recommend you to withdraw money from your Moneybookers account by bank transfer, since this is usually simpler, cheaper and faster (unless you are residing in one of the countries where we have local cheque-issuing facilities). Are there any withdrawal limits?
Depending on your user status, there may be a transaction limit set on redemptions. You may check the limit currently available to you at any time:
Go to: ‘My Account’ > ‘History’ > ‘View limits’.

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?
No. Your balance must, however, be sufficient to cover the redemption fee. Please also note that banks in some countries may not process payments of a very small amount.

In which currency will Moneybookers process my bank wire withdrawal?
We will process your withdrawal in EUR, USD or the official currency of the country where your bank is located. Information regarding the currency in which Moneybookers processes every particular withdrawal request is displayed in the final confirmation screen of your withdrawal.
