The seller asked me to pay via Moneybookers - what to do?
Step 1: Register for free.
Step 2: In order to send funds to someone’s Moneybookers account, you first have to upload funds to your own Moneybookers account. The most common is via bank transfer:
Go to: ‘My Account’ > ‘Upload Funds’ > choose bank transfer as a payment method > enter the amount to be uploaded > You will be provided with a transaction ID and bank details.
Now, you have to instruct your bank to process the transaction. Make sure to enter the transaction ID OR your login email in the reference field. Find here more supported payment methods.
Step 3: As soon as the funds are credited to your Moneybookers account, send the payment to the seller by following the instructions given under the ‘Send money’ tab. Make the payment payable to the email specified by the seller.

What happens after I send money for an auction?
The seller receives an email informing him of your payment. After clicking on the link included in the email, the recipient can log in to Moneybookers or sign up for a new account. The money will immediately appear in his account balance and he can redeem it to his bank account or via any other of our many supported payment method.

Can I pay a seller who is not a member via Moneybookers?

I paid the seller via Moneybookers but he does not want to register - is my money now lost?
Don’t worry. Your money is safe. Should the recipient not claim the money within two weeks, we will credit the funds back to your Moneybookers account.

I am a seller and received a Moneybookers payment - when can I be sure about the payment to ship the item to the buyer?
Immediately when the funds hit your Moneybookers account. e-money is like cash! Once received, the transfer can’t be undone.

Are you an escrow service?
Moneybookers’ standard person-to-person payment service is NOT an escrow service. We do offer, however, a specialised escrow service where the seller of a merchandise does not get paid until the buyer accepts it or the inspection period expires.

Is there a way to use the Moneybookers logo on my auctions?
You can select your auction logo from our Auction Resource page. To insert a Moneybookers logo into your auction listing you will be required to insert some HTML code into your auction listing. When you have created your description of the article you wish to place on the auction, you copy and paste the HTML of the Moneybookers logo from our Auction Resource page into the description field of your auction. The logo will not appear instantly in the description, you will only see the logo once you preview your auction. Once complete, finalise and submit your auction.
